First of all, apologies for the lack of activity during the past few months, if you'll allow me to come straight to the point, my mother recently passed away due to cancer. I won't go into exact details, but that has been the reason for the lack of activity on my behalf. While she was relatively okay since her diagnosis a few years ago, it was only in the last couple of months that her health deteriorated. I will endeavor to continue creating my assortment of work, as she was pleased to know that I had a form of creative outlet.

From that low point, at least let me try to improve the mood slightly by informing everybody that a collection of my posters made €180 at the recent Galacon charity auction. :iconurnemanden: asked for permission a couple of months ago to print a set out and submit them to the charity auction, with all proceeds going towards Bronies for Good. It's a strange feeling to know that people would willing bid for my work. Charity aside, they weren't even framed. But in all seriousness, it's a great outcome.

While I haven't posted anything in quite some time, I have certainly kept up to date with everything going on within the fandom. Equestria Girls, the upcoming season four through to the recent conventions, the official staff and the fandom have been busy. I won't go into detail into any of that for now, as this journal has already gotten quite lengthy.

I'm certainly sticking around. Don't worry about that. (Even if I don't have the most prolific output rate of work.)

Cheers.

I've been where you are. Both of my parents passed due to cancer.

It will never be the same, but over time you will heal. It will get better. Just don't forget to do things you enjoy. Don't deny yourself happiness, even in the face of sadness; now more than ever is when you should celebrate life.

Lift your glass to the sky, toast "To YOU, Mother!", let the tears flow, then go out into the world and SMILE.
